In 2026, Hobaho Breeding will participate in the Dutch Lily Days. Innovation, genetics and future-proof varieties are the focus of our breeding programme. During the Dutch Lily Days, we will open our breeding greenhouse to colleagues from across the entire chain. You are welcome to visit us at the familiar location of Van Zanten Flowerbulbs in Hillegom.

At Hobaho Breeding, future-oriented breeding is key. We develop strong, distinctive varieties with improved flower quality, strong plant structure, optimal shelf life, sustainable cultivation characteristics and innovative colours and shapes.

In the greenhouse:

Liber Lilies
These pollen-free orientals combine aesthetics with convenience. This is in line with the demand from both retail and consumers. Liber Lilies is a joint venture with De Jong Lelies.

Double orientals: Lucky Lilies
The Lucky Lilies line represents full, double flowers without pollen and with a light, pleasant fragrance.

In addition to the above-mentioned lilies, there are other new oriental, LA and OT hybrid lilies to admire.
