Fourteenth edition of Dutch Lily Days being held June 2 – 5

From Tuesday to Friday, June 2 through 5, the annual Dutch Lily Days is taking place. It is a unique event for plant-breeding companies, growers and trading companies and the perfect moment to talk and argue about any topic concerned with lilies. The official opening of the Dutch Lily Days 2026 is being held at Van den Bos Flowerbulbs in Honselersdijk.

This is now the fourteenth Dutch Lily Days. Both participants and visitors appreciate the event highly, which is why its format has not changed: the thirteen participating flower bulb exporters open their test greenhouse to display flowering trials to visitors from near and far. The lily companies are free to choose a theme to focus on, but it is certain that the geopolitical tensions in the world will not be ignored.

More resilient
The lily sector is under considerable pressure, partly due to the increased regulatory pressure from the government and the increasingly stricter requirements that exporters have to comply with. The sector is very conscious of these developments and is working hard at being more resilient. So large investments are being made in sustainability. Close attention is being paid to reducing the substance use further and to energy-efficient cultivation.

Participants
These thirteen companies are opening their doors during the Dutch Lily Days 2026: P.
